The WhichOne App
The WhichOne mobile app (iOS and Android) does not use cookies. It is a native application that handles authentication through tokens (JWT) stored locally in the device keychain, fully isolated from the browser.
The whichone.social Website
whichone.social is a static website and does not set any cookies: there is no login area and no form of session.
Tracking in the App
Firebase
The app integrates Firebase for:
- Firebase Analytics: Passive tracking of at most 8 named events (sign_up, onboarding_completed, pool_vote, content_published, follow, share, report_submit, app_error_boundary, plus the screen viewed), with no advertising identifiers. You can object to usage measurement by writing to support@whichone.social (see the Privacy Policy, art. 21 GDPR).
- Firebase Crashlytics: Automatic collection of crash logs for diagnostics. No personal data is specifically collected; only stack traces and the app version.
No Advertising Tracking
WhichOne does not track advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android) and does not share data with advertising networks.
Data Transfers
Google Cloud (Firebase) is based in the USA. Your analytics and diagnostics data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC). For details, see our Privacy Policy.
